Welcome to the Uganda Children’s portal, an initiative of the Economic Policy Research Centre (EPRC) and UNICEF Uganda. The portal represents a one stop shop with everything you wish to know on the situation of children in Uganda.
Herein, you will find data, research materials, publications, policy briefs and reports. You will also find a kids’ corner, news and press releases, as well as an opportunity to read and receive our monthly newsletter, share ideas, and draw on success stories to replicate and/or scale up relevant interventions.
The Economic Policy Research Centre (EPRC) is Uganda's leading think tank in economics and development policy oriented research and policy analysis. It was established in 1993 as an autonomous not-for-profit organization limited by guarantee to fill fundamental voids in economics research, policy analysis, and capacity building for effective in-country contributions to Uganda's policy processes. UNICEF works with the Government of Uganda and partners to keep children alive, safe, and learning – ensuring children and women live healthier lives, protected from violence and exploitation, and that children can access a quality education starting early in life.
