The workshop was part of the Agriculture Public Expenditure Review Program in Sub- Saharan Africa and was organized with financial support from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.  It surveyed the needs of government representatives around technical assistance on agriculture public expenditure analysis and defined the specific activities and objectives of the network of experts.

The network of experts will support African Union Member States to achieve their commitments to the CAADP mutual accountability process, including the biennial reporting to the African Union Commission and the agricultural joint sector reviews.
