 Mr. Job Lakal joined EPRC in February 2018 as a Research Analyst in the Macroeconomics Department. He holds a Master of Science in Development Management (focusing on Economic Development Policy) from the London School of Economics and Political Science (2017) and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Makerere University (2012). Prior to joining EPRC, Mr. Lakal spent over four years working in the field of monitoring and evaluation at KIWEPI, Lira NGO Forum, NAWOU, CARE International UK (as graduate consultant) & Enabel Uganda. Mr. Lakal was awarded the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders in 2016 for his significant contribution to the design and implementation of Lira NGO Forum’s Youth and Social Accountability Programme. Mr. Lakal’s research interest is in development finance; the External, Real and Government sectors; monetary and fiscal policy; institutions and growth.
